How Kids Swim Lessons Work
1
Assessment & goal setting
We evaluate your child's current skill level and create a personalized plan to build toward their goals.
2
Freestyle & backstroke
Kids master proper arm technique, rhythmic breathing, and body position for these foundational strokes.
3
Breaststroke & refinement
As skills progress, we introduce breaststroke and refine technique across all strokes for efficiency and endurance.
4
Water safety & confidence
Every lesson reinforces deep water safety, treading water, and the confidence to swim independently.
Kids Swim Lesson FAQs
My child has never had swim lessons. Is that okay?
Of course! Many of our students are complete beginners. We start with the basics and progress at your child's pace.
Can siblings take lessons together?
Yes — we often teach siblings in the same session. It's efficient for families and kids love learning alongside their brothers and sisters.
How long is each lesson?
Kids lessons are 30 minutes, which is the ideal balance of instruction time and energy for this age group.
Will my child learn all four strokes?
We focus on freestyle and backstroke first, then introduce breaststroke and butterfly as your child progresses. Most kids master the first three within a few months.
