Infant Swim Lesson FAQs
Is 6 months old enough to start?
Absolutely. Babies as young as 6 months benefit enormously from early water exposure. It builds comfort and safety awareness that lasts a lifetime.
Do I need to be in the water?
Yes — for infant lessons, a parent or caregiver is in the pool with the baby at all times. It's a wonderful bonding experience.
How long is each lesson?
Infant lessons are typically 20–25 minutes, which is the ideal attention span for babies this age.
How warm does the pool need to be?
We recommend 84–88°F for infant lessons. We'll check the water temperature before each session.
